Comments

DirectionalDrillingSoftware (DDS) keeps all user e-mail information strictly confidential. We will not exchange your e-mail address with any outsiders. As with most sites, we run access logs on visits to our pages. This information is used only for statistical purposes. None is linked back to you as an individual. So please be assured that entering your email address for opt-in email updates or downloading programs is strictly between you and us. This also refers to any comment you may leave.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

You have the option to contact us via the contact us page and the Contact us form, or use the Download Form (which is automatically called up for trial program downloads the data you eter in either of these for is for our own use and will only be used to contact you.

All credit card transactions through the DDS web site are encrypted and strictly confidential. Transactions are carried out through Authorized and Secure Credit Card processing networks. No credit card data is retained or saved on the DDS web site. No invoice numbers. customers address’s or telephone numbers are stored on the DDS web site, this is in our strict conditions related to our security policy and customer data protection. Any customer data related to purchase from this web site is encrypted and stored off site for secure reasons and cannot be acquired by any persons hacking into this web site.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
